David Court is a Director (Senior Partner) in McKinsey & company's Dallas office. He currently leads McKinsey's functional practices on a global basis. He previously led McKinsey's Sales and Marketing practice globally. He was also the Managing Director of the Dallas office and a leader of McKinsey's Retail and Consumer practices. He serves clients across a variety of consumer and industrial related businesses.
David joined McKinsey in 1982 and was elected a principal in 1989 and a director in 1994. Prior to that, he worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble in Toronto. He holds a Bcomm from Queen's University and an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar. He has worked in five McKinsey offices: Dallas, Chicago, London, Sydney, and Toronto.
David is on the Advisory Council for National Geographic, the Board of Phoenix House, and the Advisory Council for the Queen's School of Business.
