The BCC plays a critical role in setting up students for successful careers in their chosen field. Their goal is to help students find a job where they can be both satisfied and successful. The BCC provides access to a dedicated staff of career coaches and an incredible degree of support throughout your entire job search process, from researching different industries and options to help you make informed decisions to working toward a specific position in you chosen field. They also coordinate on-campus recruiting, create and market student resume books and help you prepare for interviews, whether you are job searching independently or via the on-campus process.
Queen’s does not have a formal co-op program, but summer internships providing a similar experience are open to students following their first, second, and third years of study. These positions are a great way to learn more about the business world, get involved with a specific industry and company, and see if a job is the right fit for you.
Some stay in Ontario, while others move to different provinces, countries, or even continents.
