Program Requirements
Units
- Bachelor of Commerce Degree requires 126.0 units
- Commerce units: (minimum) 90.0 – 102.0 units (maximum)
- Arts & Science units: (minimum) 24.0 – 36.0 units (maximum)
Communications
- Professional Development Workshops (highly recommended) - Students who attend 8 or more workshops by the end of 4th year are eligible to receive an optional certificate of Professional Development
To Remain in Good Academic Standing
- Must pass all courses
- Must have a year GPA of 2.0
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0
- Must be registered as a full-time student taking at least 60% of the full course load (21.0 units in first and second year, 18.0 units in third and fourth year)
- If a student fails to meet one of these requirements, he or she may proceed in Commerce, but the next year will be probationary.
- If a student fails to meet two or more of these requirements (including failing two courses), he or she will be required to withdraw from the Program.
- A student may not be placed on academic probation more than once in the Commerce Program. Therefore, any student who, once cleared of probation, again fails to satisfy the normal requirements to remain in academic good standing, will be required to leave the Commerce Program.
