My classes for the 2010/2011 academic year

Posted By: Sheila Pan on July 1, 2010

I’ve finally chosen my courses for the upcoming year! I’m taking:

COMM 401 – Business Policy (the only required course for 4th year)

COMM 402 – Business Policy II (this is going to be one of my Commerce CSR credits)

COMM 431 – Advanced topics in Marketing/Marketing and Business Strategy (This is one of the most popular upper year electives, so if you want to take this make sure to do course selection as early as possible to ensure a spot)

COMM 439 – Business to Business marketing

COMM 495 – Project Management (this is a new course being offered next winter)

COMM 382 – Business Law II

COMM 373 – International Business Negotiations

FREN 219 – Communications et Culture (I did French immersion in high school, but because I almost never used it after graduation, I’m afraid I might forgot so I’m going to take a French class to get back into the groove of learning French)

So far I only have 8 courses chosen and I need 9 in order to graduate. I still have one more Arts and Science elective that I need to complete, which also needs to be my Arts and Science CSR credit. They’re doing an interesting thing this year where they are restricting pre-registration to some Arts and Sciences courses for Commerce students. There is a list on the Commerce portal that you might want to check if there are some courses that you might be interested in taking if for some reason you can’t add it to your course list. With those courses, you can add them during the Add/Drop period in September.
