Pursue Your Passions!

No, really.  That’s the theme of Queen’s Women in Leadership (QWIL) 2008-9 Conference, which is going on this weekend.  It’s been an awesome time, and have definitely met a lot of delegates (both internal and external), especially because it’s the first year they’ve had us stay in the hotel.

So far, I’ve met a couple really great speakers, like Cora, the founder of Cora’s, Martha Gibbings, a director of events at AVP Volleyball Tours – a lot of female leaders in typically male-dominated industries. Some really great food and really great events.  It’s definitely true that Queen’s has a wide range of really great conferences – definitely one for everybody’s interests.

There’s another day of QWIL, and then a lot of marketing prep for my two presentations, but all that’s for a blog post for another day :)
