Samir Kulkarni

Born and raised in Toronto, I am currently in my 2nd year of the Queen's Commerce program. I attended the University of Toronto Schools (UTS) for my secondary education, where I was a National AP Scholar, part of the House system as a deputy prefect, and helped organize the school's annual culture show. I was also heavily involved in DECA Ontario, an extra-curricular competitive organization aimed at promoting business knowledge within high school students.

I chose the Commerce program at Queen's because of the business school's outstanding reputation, the idea of a four-year business curriculum, and the wealth of extra-curricular opportunities available for students within the Commerce Society. In addition to being a Commerce blogger, I serve on the High School Liaison executive, am the Finance Event Coordinator for the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition, and act as the Delegates Coordinator for the Queen's Conference on International Business. I'm also currently enrolled in a dual degree program, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in conjunction with my Bachelor of Commerce.

My interests include aviation, swimming, and trivia shows. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at samir.kulkarni@business.queensu.ca.
