Centre Director 
Steven (Steve) E. Salterio (B. Comm. (Mt. A.), Ph.D. (Michigan) FCA). In addition to his duties at the Centre, Steve is a Professor of Business and the PricewaterhouseCoopers/Tom O’Neill Faculty Research Fellow in Accounting at the Queen’s School of Business. His research investigates corporate governance including the role of the audit committee and external auditor; negotiations between auditors and client management; and judgmental effects of performance measures.
• He is a chartered accountant who is active in professional accounting organizations in Canada, acts as a consultant to large and mid-size public accounting firms on audit methodology and presents workshops to directors on governance and control. He has served on a number of not-for-profit organization boards and co-founded (with Tony Dimnik) Queen's Governance Program, a course designed for not-for-profits offered by Queen's School of Business Executive Education.
• Steve is available to comment to the media on issues that he has research based expertise. Currently he is in the 19th year of exile from the Maritimes.
