Research Proposals and Projects Funded

The CAGOV Centre is pleased to solicit proposals for basic research consistent with the Centre's mission statement

To be the premier Centre for the thoughtful study of governance in Canada with a special emphasis on the roles of the public accountants and audit committees to whom they report.

Funding is open to all researchers at QSB and invited researchers in law, economics and related disciplines.  Three categories of funding are anticipated, the main grants program (funding of at least $5000), the small grants program for immediate action research (proposals up to $4500) and the infrastructure program (of definitive benefit to the applicant but involves site licences etc).  Each program call is attached.  Call for proposals will be issued once a term but there are no deadlines for application, however no funding will be granted before November 1 in fall term, March 1 in winter term and July 1 in summer term.  Each proposal will be evaluated on its own merits and funded subject to reaching the funding constraint.  See details attached.
