The Queen’s School of Business Centre for Responsible Leadership (formerly the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility) was founded in 2004. The work of the Centre focuses around three key areas; Integrity, Innovation, and Impact. The Centre is generously funded by our sponsors.

Four major purposes

  • Educate a generation of globally responsible leaders.
  • Foster high-quality research to build knowledge on topics related to the successful formation and implementation of Responsible Leadership practice strategies.
  • Support the non-profit community.
  • Be a global advocate for Responsible Leadership by working on the world stage to better understand the challenges associated with globally responsible leadership and developing new and better ways to train future and current managers.

How we do it

Education

The Centre is devoted to creating a generation of responsible leaders.
It fosters leading-edge education in the field of responsible leadership through such initiatives as:

  • The Certificate in CSR program for undergraduate students
  • The National Mentoring Program
  • The Certificate in Responsible Leadership for Accelerated MBA students (Jan, 2010)
  • Host monthly Brown Bag sessions for members of the QSB community
  • The design and provision of learning modules for the MBA, MSc, and PhD programs
  • Support of student-led responsible leadership clubs and events
  • The development of new teaching methods and educational materials
