Concordia Rural Research Group

Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve (FABR)
The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve, known locally as the Biosphere Network, helps guide its community towards a more sustainable approach to living on earth. FABR networks natural and historic conservation organisations, economic and social development groups, as well as the educational and scientific communities located within the Frontenac Arch region. One of 15 Biosphere Reserves located in Canada, the Frontenac Arch Biosphere was designated by UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere Programme in November 2002. The reserve extends roughly 2700 square kilometres in the south eastern portion of Ontario.

Loyalist College

Marmora and Lake
Marmora and Lake is a beautiful little municipality, part of Hastings County and located in central southern Ontario. It is equidistant from Ottawa and Toronto and the main village is located along Hwy 7, a major transportation route for trucks and vehicles traveling to and through those destinations. Two Rivers Community Development Centre
Two Rivers Community Development Centre is an Aboriginal Capital Corporation and Community Futures Development Corporation. The centre seeks to foster the creation, maintenance and growth of Aboriginal business through the provision of financing, business development and business support services. Two Rivers CDC was formed in 1996 through the merger of the Six Nations CDC and the Touch the Sky Business Development Centre, to improve operating efficiency and capacity in providing loans, support services, and training to businesses physically located on these two First Nations communities.
U-Links Centre
The U-Links Centre for Community-Based Research delivers the Community-Based Education Program in Haliburton County, bringing the resources of the university to the community and the resources of the community to the university. U-Links is a project of the Haliburton County Community Co-operative and is supported by Trent University and the Township of Minden Hills.
