Step 1 - Register

If you haven't already, in order to participate you must register online. If you would like more information about the study & registration process click here. Registration is open all year round so if you miss this year, you can sign up early for next year's study!

Step 2 - Notable Dates

• March 31st - For expediency please register for the study by this date!
• March to May - Participant Packages are sent out! If you need more copies please see the links on the right.
• May 31st -   Last chance to register for this year's study!  
• June 15 - HR Survey is fully completed and submitted.
• June 30 - The Survey Coordinator distributes the confidential Employee Opinion Survey to employees, who complete it online or return it directly to Hewitt.
• July to September - the submitted survey materials are processed, analyzed and scored. Early online reporting becomes available.
• December - Survey Coordinators learn whether their organization is one of the year's Best Employers, but not the ranking. They must keep this information confidential until the list is published.

Step 3 - See if you are Eligible for other study benefits:

Organizations that are named as Best Employers are recognized in Maclean's magazine, with additional coverage in La Presse, Canadian Business and Profit. Organizations located in the Greater Toronto Area may also see their names on the Best Employers in the GTA list, published by the Toronto Star.

Participants in the Best Employers studies are also eligible for the Green 30 List, where employee feedback determines environmentally responsible organizations. The list is published in Maclean's and Canadian Business on Earth Day.
