Registration for the next Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada study will close mid-May 2010.

Registration
Winter - Late Spring 2010

  1. If you have not already registered, you will be invited to register - either by invitation... or if you are new to us, then by you registering directly online or by telephone - 1.877.955.1800 !!
  2. At the time of registration, each participating organization will identify a Survey Coordinator. This person will be our liaison and we will send them the Participant Package for your company with all the next steps and details. You will receive this from one of our BSME Project Support Coordinators.

Survey Completion
May 1 to June 20, 2010

  1. There are 3 types of surveys. The Survey Coordinator helps ensure that each employee fills out only one survey - and the correct survey:
    1. Leadership Team Survey (LTS): Each member of the leadership team completes and submits the online survey individually. Only the Leaders in your organization complete this survey.

      The Survey Coordinator distributes information and instructions regarding the Leadership Team Survey (LTS) to the firm's CEO or most senior executive in Canada, his or her direct reports, and the most senior HR leader (if he or she is not a direct report of the CEO or most senior executive).
    2. Employee Opinion Survey: Each employee completes and submits the online survey individually. Only non-leader employees complete this survey.

      The Survey Coordinator distributes information and instructions regarding the Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) to all employees in the organization who are NOT considered Leaders in your organization.
    3. Human Resource Survey: The HR team (or Survey Coordinator) in your organization may complete the HRS together online.

      The Survey Coordinator distributes information and instructions regarding the Human Resources Survey (HRS) to the most senior HR leader in the organization. Often times, the Survey Coordinator 'IS' the most senior HR leader in the organization.

      One completed HRS must be submitted for the organization. Please note that this survey is always due for submission before the others; typically by June 15th.

  2. The survey response data is processed, analyzed and scored. Follow-up analyses and reports are then developed.

Reports and Services are Available for Purchase - Late Summer onward

  1. Detailed reports and related services are available - either online electronically or hard copy, for purchase from Labour Day 2010 and beyond. Call us for details of the various reporting packages or custom programs available for your company 1.877.955.1800.

  1. The new 50 Best Small and Medium Employers List is nationally recognized through the Queen's/Hewitt public relations network early in the new year 2011.

Complimentary Reports are Distributed - New Year 2011

  1. For organizations opting to not purchase any reports, we deliver a complimentary highlight report to each participating firm winter/spring 2011.
