Meet Our Chef
Chef Alan Boden was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, where he received his training at the Newcastle Poly-Tec & Culinary Institute of America. Alan apprenticed under Jaques Molinary at Gosforth Park Hotel, Moulin Rouge & Fisherman’s Wharf.
Following his apprenticeship, Alan immigrated to Canada in 1979, where he worked in the hotel industry in Toronto and Vancouver. Alan is member of the Escoffier Society, President of the Thousand Islands C.F.C.C. and Les Toques Blanches.
Alan has spent the past three years in his present position at the Donald Gordon Conference Centre.
