Queen's School of Business

London Queen's Business Club, in collaboration with The High Commission of Canada, invites you and your guest(s) to join fellow alumni at a reception and presentation featuring Gord Ray, BCom'93, Publishing Director, Wallpaper* Magazine (click here for bio) on 'Does the Devil Still Wear Prada? - The business of luxury goods and media in the global economic meltdown'.

Gord's presentation will be a ‘view from the trenches' - a combination of facts, hands-on experience and humorous stories from someone who is facing these challenges on a day-to-day basis - and will include:

  • With the credit crunch, how is the luxury goods industry affected? How is it coping?
  • How is the world of global media affected? What changes are they making?
  • What is the outlook for both industries? 
  • How are they adapting now - how will they adapt in future?

Dean David Saunders will also be in attendance and will provide an update on School news.
