Sephton, Peter

Peter Sephton is a Professor in Queen’s School of Business.

Dr. Sephton’s current area of research includes applied economic modeling. He has papers published in many journals including the Canadian Journal of Economics, Economics Letters, The American Journal of Agricultural Economics, and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Review. He is the coauthor of Macroeconomics: Second Canadian Edition and Microeconomics: Second Canadian Edition, as well as Money, Banking, and the Canadian Financial System, Eighth Edition.

Dr. Sephton’s consulting activities range from reviewing cost-benefit studies to estimating damages in personal injury and fatal accident cases. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the International Monetary Fund and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
