Selim joins the School from Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University, where he has been a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance since August 2002. Selim has a Ph.D. in Finance from Arizona State University, an M.A. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in Management from Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. Selim is currently doing research on the following topics: the effects of Regulation Fair Disclosure on institutional trading, the relationship between stock returns and changes in institutional ownership, and investor behavior over the rise and fall of Nasdaq stock market. Selim's research is published in the Journal of Finance.
