Wu, Serena

Serena Wu is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Queen's School of Business. She expects to receive her PhD in September 2009 from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. She also holds a Master degree in Finance from the City University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor degree in Accounting from Peking University (Beijing, China).

Serena's research interests are in executive compensation, corporate governance, strategic disclosure, and analyst forecast. She has been invited to present her research at some of the world's best business schools such as MIT, London Business School and INSEAD. Her papers are under review at (or close to submission to) top accounting and finance journals such as the Journal of Accounting and Economics. Serena has also been recognized for her dedication to teaching with nominations for the UBC Graduate Teaching Award.
