What University Services are there for International Students?
The International Centre, as a student service of Queen's University, supports the academic and personal development of international students and staff, their families and internationally minded Canadians. Through its core of services and programs the Centre aims to promote an internationally informed and cross-culturally sensitive university community.
QUIC is designed to be your "home away from home" with a lounge, full kitchen facilities, meeting rooms, and a library—the perfect place for you to meet new friends, compare experiences, and receive any help you need while at Queen's.

Location
Kingston is the hub of eastern Ontario. From here, it is only a two-hour drive to the major population centers of Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Syracuse, New York - and immediate access to markets of more than 130 million people within a day´s drive.
The city also offers border access within 30 minutes via the 1000 Island Bridge. (This crossing rarely experiences delays.)
Travel
Kingston is served by excellent highway and passenger rail transportation systems.
Kingston is strategically placed on the south side of Highway 401 and offers immediate access from 5 major intersections covering the city from west to east.
Via Rail has regular daily service to Kingston for both passenger travel.
Kingston is also home to the Norman Rogers Airport with daily passenger and goods flights into Pearson International Airport.
