CMA and CMC Designations

The CMC Designation

Queen's has partnered with the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC) to provide participants an opportunity to earn credits towards the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation while earning their MBA. Exemptions are granted for the functional courses in Queen's Executive MBA and credit is given for time devoted to your MBA consulting projects. Membership in CAMC will give you a network of over 3,500 management consultants across Canada.

The CMA Designation

Through a special partnership between Queen's and CMA Canada, you have the opportunity to earn your MBA degree and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation at the same time. The CMA designation is internationally recognized as the leading financial management qualification for executives.

Participants interested in pursuing this opportunity apply to their provincial CMA body at the beginning of the MBA program. A previous university degree and a minimum of two years of experience are required for admittance to this joint program. Participants accepted by their provincial CMA body are able to fulfill most of the requirements for the CMA designation within Queen's Executive MBA. Learn more about the CMA partnership.

The Queen’s-CMA partnership is currently not available in Nova Scotia or PEI. An alternative program is available in Québec.
