Try the QMAT Mini-Test
The QMAT is a diagnostic tool used as part of the admissions process for Queen's Executive MBA programs. The QMAT is a valuable tool for several reasons. First, your QMAT results are an indication of your ability to handle the academic rigor of the program you've applied to and secondly, the QMAT is an excellent tool to assist you in preparing for the program start.
To help you get a better understanding of the types of questions found on the QMAT, we have put together a mini-QMAT for you. To prepare, find a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed and anticipate to take 30 minutes to complete the 20 questions found below. Once you've completed the mini-QMAT your results will be provided to you and an Application Advisor will follow up with you shortly.
QMAT Mini-Test is divided in five sections:
- Problem Solving (6)
- Critical Reasoning (3)
- Sentence Correction (4)
- Reading Comprehension (3)
- Data Sufficiency (4)
Interpreting your
Mini-Test results
Your score will vary depending on a number of factors, including the number of years you’ve been out of school, your quantitative orientation, and your day-to-day job responsibilities. In fact, most applicants find they benefit from some form of preparation for the QMAT or GMAT because they’ve been out of a formal testing environment for many years.
Once you’ve written the mini-test, please call the Queen’s Executive MBA program office and we will help you assess your results. We can provide access to free QMAT workshops and materials to help you improve your score if necessary.
