New Head of Queen's MBA for Science & Technology

2001-03-04 - Margot Northey, Dean of Queen's School of Business, has named Salman Mufti head of the top-ranked Queen’s MBA for Science & Technology for a two-year term effective July 1, 2001. He will replace the retiring Dr John Gordon.

Professor Mufti is Assistant Professor of E-Business and Information Technology at Queen’s School of Business. Presently, he is also the Program Director of the Queen's National Executive MBA, Class of 2001.

In addition to his roles at Queen's School of Business, Professor Mufti advises senior managers in private corporations and the federal government, and is frequently featured in the Canadian press on matters relating to e-business and the Internet economy. Recent clients include: Bell Canada, Sun Life Insurance, Arthur Andersen, Canadian Institute of Private and Public Commercial Real Estate Companies, Environics Communications, CN Railway, Public Works and Government Services Canada, CBC, and National Defence.

Professor Mufti has a B.Sc. with a concentration in physics and computer science from McMaster University and an MBA from Queen’s University.
