Goodes Hall architectural excellence recognized

Professor Emeritus Merv Daub, Chair of the Goodes Hall Building Committee, attended the Ontario Association of Architects & Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (OAA/RAIC) awards ceremony in Toronto today.
Queen's University and the Ventin Group (Toronto) Ltd, the architects for Goodes Hall, were presented with an Honourable Mention Award under the category of "Institutional B" - projects greater than $10 million.
Last fall, the Frontenac Historic Foundation presented the School with a Certificate of Commendation for the restoration of the old Victoria School, originally constructed in 1892, which was renovated and added onto to create Goodes Hall.
