Financing

The fee for Queen's Executive MBA is an all-inclusive fee covering tuition, books, all learning materials, as well as meals and accommodation during the residential sessions held at Queen's. The fee also includes all the software required for the program and in-house technical support.

An initial deposit of $2,000 (non-refundable) is required. The balance is paid in four installments during the program.

Fees are subject to final approval from the Queen's Board of Trustees.

Personal Income Tax Treatment of Tuition Fees

Queen's Executive MBA participants who pay all or part of the program fee personally are eligible to claim a tuition tax credit. Typically, tax savings are equivalent to 25% of the eligible tuition fee.

RRSP Withdrawals

You and your spouse may be eligible to make tax-free withdrawals from your RRSPs of up to $20,000 each over two years to help fund your education. Please contact your income tax advisor for details.

Sponsoring an employee in Queen's Executive MBA is a wise and cost-effective business decision for organizations, since they will be adding to the skill set of their most promising managers.

Academic Scholarships

Queen's is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships to outstanding applicants. Please speak to an Application Advisor for more details.

RBC Royal Credit Line for Students

Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada may apply for a loan with RBC Royal Bank to cover their tuition and educational expenses while pursuing their MBA.

Note: Acceptance to the Queen’s EMBA program does not guarantee or imply qualification for financing from RBC Royal Bank.

It is a good idea to submit your loan application the same time as your Queen's MBA application. While loan approval does not guarantee acceptance into Queen’s MBA, submitting your application early will save you time, and ultimately peace of mind.
